Gery Chico On The Election
CHICAGO (CBS) -- With less than a week until Election Day, we wanted to hear from the candidates for mayor in person. So we've invited the four frontrunners to sit down for interviews on issues important to the campaign.
It's Gery Chico's turn.
He's 54 years old and was Mayor Daley's chief-of-staff from 1992 through 1995. The he was president of Chicago Board of Education and president of the Chicago Park District and chief of the Chicago City Colleges.
He and his wife Sunny together have five children and one grandchild.
