Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle is in the final year of his contract. And he admits that there’s a chance this could be his last season in Chicago.

“A little bit of both,” Buehrle said on the Danny Mac Show when asked if he thought his potential departure could come from retirement or free agency.

“I don’t know all the money out there, but obviously the money they spent this year, signing guys to multi-year deals, I don’t know what they have locked up for the next couple years. And I mean, they could throw Chris Sale in the rotation and do a lot better than I do and spend a lot less money. So, that’s just the business part of it I don’t like to get involved in.”
