Highland Park City Council members Nancy Rotering and Terri Olian are vying to replace Mayor Michael Belsky, who is running for re-election.

Rotering and Olian differ on matters of economic development. Rotering does not think the city was wise to buy the big downtown movie theater it owns, but Olian says officials are planning the best use for the facility, which anchors one end of the downtown area.
Olian and Rotering also have been debating about fiscal planning, budget cuts, and whether it's time for a change on the North Shore.

WBBM 780 will examine the Highland Park Mayor's race on "At Issue" this weekend. You can hear more Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.
