NCAA Tournament Is 'The Most Unique Event In Sports'

It's hard to describe how a No. 12 seeded Richmond upsetting a No. 5 seeded Vanderbilt can be, at the same time, both shocking and completely accepted as the norm, but that's why they call it March Madness.

"We have the most unique event in sports, really in the United States," Bob Wenzel, of CBS Sports, said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "[It's] a tournament that goes for a month, the whole country gets captivated by it, shots live in eternity and legends are made and all kinds of cool stuff happens."

There were three upsets and plenty of buzzer-beaters on the first big day of the tournament, and if college basketball fans are lucky Friday will be just as entertaining as Thursday.
