CHICAGO (CBS/WBBM) -- Chicago First Lady Maggie Daley will be in the hospital for a while longer, according to her physician.

Mrs. Daley, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2002, was admitted to Northwestern on Saturday morning after suffering pain in her right leg. That is the same leg that was reinforced with a metal rod last year, a few months after her cancer spread to the leg.

Mrs. Daley was hospitalized in Washington, D.C., for four days in October because of pain in the same leg.

On Friday of last week, Mrs. Daley was at a fundraiser at the Art Institute on Friday with her husband, Mayor Richard M. Daley, where the two were honored for their service to the city. The event raised money for an Art Institute program for school children that will bear the names of the mayor and his wife.

CBS 2's Bill Kurtis attended the fundraiser and said Maggie Daley "looked terrific, as always."

The Mayor's Press Office says doctors have run some tests, but there is no further information.
