Live Nation, Groupon To Join Up For New Venture
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- Live Nation and Groupon are joining up for deals on live entertainment.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's Mike Krauser reports, the concert promoter and online deal Web site are forming a venture that will be called GrouponLive.

The site will offer deals on tickets to concerts, theater, arts and sporting events.
It is expected to go live before the start of the summer concert season.
Live Nation is based in Los Angeles. It acquired Ticketmaster last year.
Groupon, of course, is based in Chicago and is the leader in daily deal Web sites.
CBS is a Live Nation partner.
