CHICAGO (CBS) — A sport-utility vehicle and a pickup truck crashed in the heart of downtown Chicago Tuesday morning.

The crash happened sometime before 6 a.m. at Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive.

CBS 2’s Kris Habermehl reported an eastbound SUV slammed into a quad-cab pickup truck, spinning the pickup around in the intersection.

The SUV driver was shaken up more than anything else, but the front of the vehicle was demolished.

The SUV was being towed away as of around 6:10 a.m. City traffic management crews were able to clear the scene easily.
