Girl, 4, Falls From Window In North Lawndale

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 4-year-old girl is in critical condition after falling out a window in the North Lawndale neighborhood.

The little girl fell out of a second-story window at 2142 S. Millard Ave. just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

The block where the girl fell is composed mostly of two-flat apartment buildings.

Police were still on the scene as of 11:30 a.m.
