Robbers Swipe $500,000 Worth Of Watches From Jeweler's Row
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Burglars got away with high-end watches valued at a half million dollars from the New York Jewelers store in the Loop early this morning.
The burglar alarm sounded around 5:40 a.m. at the store on Jeweler's Row, 11 N. Wabash.

Police arrived to find several glass display cases on the second floor smashed and expensive watches missing. Some were left on the floor.
Police say there was a large, movable sign placed in front of a window. They believe the burglars put it there so they wouldn't be noticed breaking in.
There was a similar burglary at another Jeweler's Row store about a month ago at the same time of day.
