When Will The White Sox Consider Roster Moves?

CHICAGO (WSCR) The Chicago White Sox slowly, but surly, pulled themselves up front the bottom of the AL Central division to a point where they could potentially make a run if a few things go their way.

With a solid starting pitching, the White Sox need to find more consistent offensive production. Eventually, the organization will have to seriously consider calling up prospect Dayan Viciedo.

"They would have to find a spot for him," Joe Cowley, of the Chicago Sun-Times, said on the Danny Mac Show. "Whether it's somehow putting [Brent] Lillibridge...and using him at leadoff, which I don't know if that's the move."

But the White Sox are 7-3 over their last 10 games, so the team should be in no rush to make a move just for the sake of making a move.

"I think they're going to kind of let the rest of June play out and into July and then start thinking about: 'Where are we now? What do we need to do?" Cowley said. "Because, to me, it's a two-team race, it's the Sox and Detroit, Cleveland is just kind of standing in the way of progress."
