CHICAGO (CBS) The Chicago Blackhawks have released their 2011 preseason schedule which includes two contests against the Detroit Red Wings, Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins as well as a game agaisnt the Edmonton Oilers.

The Blackhawks will open their preseason games in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with a matchup against the Oilers. This will the second consecutive preseason the Blackhawks will play a neutral site game. Last preseason the Blackhawks played the Tampa Bay Lightning at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Chicago will have home-and-home series with the rival Red Wings, Penguins and Capitals. The Blackhawks’ home preseason schedule opens on Friday September 23rd against the Capitals.

Ticket information for preseason games will be announced at a later date.
