Teen Held In Ind. Teacher's Murder
MERILLVILLE, Ind. (CBS) –- Police have a 16-year-old in custody in connection with the murder of an 80-year-old teacher.
Anna Schulz, a longtime Gary, Ind. school teacher, was found dead in her home in Merrillville on Wednesday night. She had sustained trauma to the neck, officials said.
Police say her silver four-door Cadillac was stolen from her driveway. After acting on a tip, officials located her car at the home of the teen suspect's relative.
That suspect was found at another location. He's being held in Lake County, Ind. as authorities consider murder and auto theft charges.
