Is Quinn Reneging On Bears-Packers Bet With Wisconsin?

CHICAGO (WBBM) – Gov. Pat Quinn says he plans on following through with his NFC Championship bet with his Wisconsin counterpart, despite the fact that it's now seven months later.

Quinn says it's been a busy year so far, with a contentious legislative session in Illinois.

Prior to the Chicago Bears' loss to the Green Bay Packers, Quinn had promised Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker that if the Bears lost he would deliver food to a Wisconsin food pantry wearing a Packers Jersey.

In February, Quinn said he was holding off on his end of the deal due to the controversy over collective bargaining in Wisconsin.

Recently, Walker fulfilled his promise by handing out food at a Kenosha food pantry.
