Lane Closures Expected On I-88 Monday

AURORA, Ill. (STMW) - Lanes are expected to be closed in several locations on Ronald Reagan Memorial Highway during the day Monday, according to the Illinois Tollway Authority.

One eastbound and one westbound lane of the Reagan Memorial Highway (I-88) will be closed between Illinois Route 59 and the Aurora toll plaza from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday to work on road joints.

One lane will be closed in each direction at Randall Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for bridge deck replacement. The lanes were previously closed Thursday and Friday in that area for similar work.

One eastbound lane will be closed between Illinois Route 47 and Bliss Road from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for pavement repair.

The speed limit in those areas will be 45 miles per hour. The work is weather dependent, but drivers can check illinoistollway.com for more information on closures or travel.
