The Docket: McNeil & Spiegel, Tuesday July 26th

By Matt Spiegel-

(WSCR) Here's what's coming up on Mac & Spiegs at 9, which is also the hour when NFL teams can officially sign their draft picks, and the undrafted guys they've already agreed to terms with. Game on! We'll be tracking all the signings, ready to update you at every move.

George McCaskey is among those speaking at a Halas Hall press conference this morning...you, and we, will hear the public debut of the new family member in charge.

The White Sox get a good, if sloppy, win in the series opener with the Tigers last night. Lots to talk about, and we'll do so with Bill Melton of Comcast Sports Net at 11.

We'll take a guest-intensive look at the rest of the NFC North. Judd Zulgad of the Star-Tribune talks Vikings at 10, Lions PBP man Jim Brandstatter is an old friend at 10:40, and Rob Demovsky of the Press-Gazette does Packers at noon.

Kenny Williams talks tough about a potential overhaul of the White Sox roster. Upon further review, it's just Kenny bluster isn't it? The chairman couldn't possibly go for that. Or does he want it? Do fans want it?

Jim Hendry thinks the Cubs can compete next year, and his potential deadline inactivity should enrage you. But hey, two people in the meeting already disagreed with me. Morons. :)

Much. much more of course. You know who was the best ever at pulling off the hotfoot? If you missed Hawk's reference last night, it won't surprise you.

See you on the airplane.
