(CBS) The Bears’ special teams received a boost late Sunday when the team officially announced they had re-signed linebacker Brian Iwuh to a one-year deal.

Iwuh, who spent four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars before coming to Chicago in 2010, was second on the Bears with 18 special teams tackles last season.

Iwuh also started a game last year in place of Lance Briggs and led the team with 12 tackles.
