Police Seek Shooter In Princeton Park Armed Robbery
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man in his 40s was shot during a reported armed robbery in the Princeton Park neighborhood Saturday afternoon on the Far South Side.
The man, in his mid-40s, was shot in the arm during a possible armed robbery at 1:24 p.m. in the 9700 block of South Lowe Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien.
He was taken in good to fair condition to Little Company of Mary Hospital, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Will Knight said.
Dispatch reports indicated the man was working on a house when he was shot during an attempted armed robbery.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody Saturday afternoon, O'Brien said.
