Mayor Emanuel Finishes Chicago Triathlon
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Mayor Rahm Emanuel was among the thousands of people who participated in the Chicago Triathlon on Sunday.
Despite rough waters and an ankle injury earlier this year, the 51-year-old mayor finished in 1 hour 36 minutes – good for 9th out of 80 in his age group, according to the mayor's office.

Organizers said about 10,000 people were expected to participate in the triathlon. Early Sunday morning, the National Weather Service had issued choppy water warnings for boaters and swimmers, but no injuries were reported during the triathlon.
Emanuel had been training for the triathlon for months and, earlier in the summer, he injured his ankle while running.
The mayor's office said he'd be up and ready for work on Monday.
