Bears Waive CB Moore To Make Room For Meriweather
LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- The Chicago Bears have waived cornerback Joshua Moore, clearing room for Pro Bowl safety Brandon Meriweather.
The Bears announced the move on Monday. They needed to make a cut after they agreed Sunday to a one-year deal with Meriweather, a Pro Bowl pick with New England the past two seasons.
Moore saw time on special teams as a rookie last season, appearing in three games after being drafted in the fifth round. The Bears also signed former Notre Dame running back Armando Allen to the practice squad Monday.
