Austin Neighborhood Man Shot Dead In Maywood
MAYWOOD, Ill. (STMW) -- Maywood police are investigating the slaying of a Chicago man early Saturday in the west suburb, police said.
Someone shot Vincent Frazier Jr., 25, inside the common area of a building at 847 S. 19th St. at 3:46 a.m., according to Maywood police Chief Tim Curry.
Frazier, of the 5500 block of West Chicago Avenue, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood where he died, according to Curry.
Curry said a motive for why Frazier was shot was not known immediately and no one was in custody Saturday afternoon.
