Four Seriously Wounded In Two West Town Shootings

CHICAGO (STMW) - Four people were seriously wounded in two shootings in the West Town area on the Near Northwest Side early Saturday.

Three males were shot near the intersection of Division Street and Ashland Avenue about 3:48 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

Two were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County and the other was taken to Saint Mary Hospital. All were in serious-to-critical condition, according to Fire Media Affairs.

About the same time, one person was critically wounded in a shooting not far away, at Milwaukee and Augusta avenues, according to Fire Media Affairs. That person was taken in serious to critical condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County.

Police did not have immediately have any additional details on that shooting.
