Report: Buehrle To Meet With Marlins
(CBS) Free agent pitcher Mark Buehrle will meet with the Florida Marlins in South Florida, according to FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal.
The Marlins' No. 1 priority is upgrading their starting rotation, according to Rosenthal, and Buehrle is a favorite of new manager Ozzie Guillen.
Still, the report says Buehrle's desire is to stay in the Midwest, which has long been the case.
The report did not say when the meeting between Buehrle and the Marlins will happen.
