Man In Critical After Falling To Ground Following Punch On West Side
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 20-year-old man is in critical condition at a hospital Sunday morning after he fell to the ground, striking his head on the pavement, when he was punched on the West Side just after midnight.
About 12:04 a.m., the man was punched at 10 N. Kilbourn Ave., according to police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli.
The victim then fell to the ground, striking his head on the pavement, Mirabelli said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Police had no information on the offender or offenders and the circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately known.
Harrison Area detectives are investigating.
