Dayne Crist Picks Kansas Over Wisconsin
(CBS) Former Notre Dame quarterback Dayne Crist is taking his talents to Kansas.
The transfer wrote on Twitter Thursday morning that he will play his final year of college football with the Jayhawks, who are now coached by Charlie Weis, his former coach and recruiter at Notre Dame.
Crist picked Kansas over Wisconsin, which lost offensive coordinator Paul Chryst to Pitt just about an hour before Crist made his decision. The Panthers announced Thursday morning that Chryst will be the new head coach at Pittsburgh.
Crist visited Kansas two weekends ago and took in Wisconsin this past weekend.
