Report: College Football Playoff 'Gets Done'
(CBS) A college football playoff is coming, it's just a matter of what it looks like.
The Sporting News reports that leaders of the game will meet Tuesday in New Orleans to discuss changes to the BCS and the consensus is that some sort of playoff is coming.
"It gets done," the BCS official told the Sporting News.
According to the report, Tuesday's meeting will be the first of four, with two taking place in Dallas and Miami in April and a final meeting tentatively set for June.
The Sporting News says there are "at least 60 different options on the table, and that includes everything from a four-team playoff to one game after all the bowls."
