Blackhawks All-Stars Drafted For Same Team

(CBS/AP) – The two NHL All-Star representatives from the Chicago Blackhawks won't be squaring off against each other Sunday in Ottawa.

Both Marian Hossa and Patrick Kane will play for "Team Chara" -– for team captain Zdeno Chara -- under a fantasy draft conducted Thursday evening. Hossa was the seventh player chosen overall; Kane was the 23rd.

Ex-Blackhawks defenseman Brian Campbell was also selected for Team Chara.

This is the second straight season the All-Stars are divided in two teams not based on conference or nationality.

Team Alfredsson, led by Ottawa captain Daniel Alfredsson and his assistant, goaltender Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers, takes on Team Chara, featuring Boston captain Chara and his assistant, forward Joffrey Lupul of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
