$40,000 Bid For Uniform Lin Wore Less Than 2 Months Ago

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A couple of months ago, you probably didn't even have known who Jeremy Lin was.

But now, with "Linsanity" in full swing, someone bid $40,000 for the first Knicks uniform Lin wore.

It's not as if this is some priceless memorabilia that dates back decades. As Larry Brown Sports points out, Lin wore the uniform less than two months ago.

His first Knicks game was on Dec. 28 against the Golden State Warriors. Larry Brown Sports reminds us that it was an unremarkable appearance for Lin, who played one minute and went 0-1 in a 92-78 loss.

But now, the Harvard alumnus is the talk of the nation, ever since he got his big break going as point guard for the Knicks two weeks ago.
