Loyola Beats Bradley 56-44

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Ben Averkamp had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead Loyola of Chicago to a 56-44 win at Bradley Saturday night.

The Ramblers (7-19) have won two of three after an 11-game losing streak in the Horizon League.

Loyola played the BracketBusters series game without its second-leading scorer and rebounder, Walt Gibler, who is out with a shoulder injury. Joe Crisman scored 10 points on Saturday for the Ramblers.

Jalen Crawford scored 12 points and Walt Lemon Jr. added 11 points for Bradley. The Braves (7-22) of the Missouri Valley Conference have lost three straight and nine of their last 10.
