Chicago Band Seeking Help Finding Stolen Instruments

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago's Carbon Tigers say they'll never stop making music, but someone's trying to make it tough for them.

Bass player Adam Sweat says thieves got all the bands instruments: Four guitars, an $8,000 mint ripple green drum kit all the cables and pedals and microphones. They also took their 15 passenger dark green Dodge Ram van. The van has faded white lettering--The Country Church--on the sides and door.

Sweat says he's hoping someone will help.

As for a reward?

"We kind of broke to begin with," he said. "So the reward part might have to come after we figured out what we recovered."

Sweat says the Carbon Tigers' van was lifted sometime between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Thursday from the corner of Lawrence and Clark.

The band has posted a full listing of the stolen goods, with pictures, online.
