Bears Tender Qualifying Offer To Restricted Free Agent RB Bell
(CBS) The Bears tendered a qualifying offer to restricted free agent running back Kahlil Bell Monday afternoon.
The move means the Bears will have the opportunity to match all offers made to Bell in an effort to keep him.
Bell performed well last season after Matt Forte went down with a knee injury. The Bears will likely want to keep him for depth purposes.
The three-year veterans has 557 rushing yards, 20 receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown in his career.
