Bulls Unsure When Rose Will Return

(WSCR) Linsanity has taken its toll on the Bulls.

The groin injury that continues to hamper Derrick Rose was suffered during the Bulls game against the Knicks on March 12 when Jeremy Lin blocked his shot. Tonight, Rose will likely miss his fourth-straight game with the injury.

"They say with an injury like this they don't know how long it's going to take," Rose told the Chicago Tribune before Monday's morning shootaround at Amway Center in Orlando. "I thought I was going to be back sooner. I'm missing big games that I hate to miss, like the one tonight.

"I haven't been able to run. I haven't run in a couple days, just making sure that my leg is OK and making sure that the pain goes away very quickly."

In this shortened season, the Bulls aren't taking any chances with Rose. He's now missed more games this season than his first three seasons combined.

"It could be a few days. It could be who knows?" head coach Tom Thibodeau said. "We just want him to make progress. When he's healthy, he's healthy. We're not going to rush him back. We want him to be completely healthy. We think that's important."
