Blackhawks Assign Danault To IceHogs
(CBS) The Blackhawks have assigned forward Phillip Danault to the AHL's Rockford IceHogs.
Danaults, 19, was selected with the 26th pick in the 2011 draft. He signed a three-year contract with the Blackhawks in early January.
Danaults was captain of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Victoriaville Tigres and ranked second on the club with a career-high 53 assists and registered a career-best 71 points in 62 regular-season contests.
