Soccer, Tae Kwon Do Instructor Accused Of Molesting 2 Boys

MAYWOOD, Ill. (CBS) -- Bond was set Thursday at $1 million for a 35-year-old Cicero soccer and Tae Kwon Do instructor accused of sexual misconduct with two boys.

Hugo Davila, of Cicero, allegedly began molesting one child, a Tae Kwon Do student, at the age of 10 in 2005, and continued for four years. Prosecutors told Maybrook Court Judge Pamela Leeming that Davila allegedly began molesting a second boy, a soccer player at the age of 15 last August.

Davila allegedly went undetected until he allowed two Tae Kwon Do students to use his cell phone, and the students found a photo of the 15-year-old boy naked. They, in turn, told their parents, who notified Cicero police.

The 15-year-old allegedly told police that Davila threatened him with physical harm in order to get him to submit. Prosecutors said that after that, Davila allegedly gave the teen cash and gifts to remain silent.

The other boy said that he would be molested before or after class, sometimes as his mother waited for him.

Cicero police said that Davila continued to molest the 15-year-old boy until the time of his arrest this week. Police have asked the public to come forward if they have information that could tie Davila to any other attacks.

Davila returns to the Maybrook Courthouse in Maywood for a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
