(CBS) Center Jonathan Toews said Monday he is “very confident” he’ll play when the Blackhawks open their Stanley Cup playoff quest Thursday in Glendale, Ariz. against the Coyotes.

The Blackhawks’ captain has missed 22 straight games with a concussion. He cautioned that a final decision won’t be made until Thursday, but he practiced with the top line in practice Monday.

Dave Bolland and Andrew Brunette are also expected to return for the first playoff game.
