Cheating In Chicagoland? City Among Top 10 For Extramarital Affairs
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicagoland is full of cheaters.
And not the ones typically associated with the city's lore--crooked politicians and gangsters.
Chicago ranks No. 8 in the country for infidelity, according to a survey by ashleymadison.com--a website that hooks up married folks who want to have affairs.
The site drew its conclusion by analyzing the locations of its registered users.
No. 1 goes to Washington, D.C. Always lots of scandal there (Clinton, Weiner etc.).
Why do certain towns rank so high?
Ashley Madison CEO Noel Biderman says: "Simply put, the more successful you are, the more prone to cheating you are."
Well, at least we got that.

Data on how many Americans actually cheat, varies widely. Between 30 percent and 60 percent of Americans will cheat in their lifetime, according to some researchers. About 50 percent of marriages end in divorce.
