Crash Shuts Down Northbound Lake Shore Drive Just Before Morning Rush
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Northbound Lake Shore Drive was closed just before the morning rush began Friday after a crash.
CBS 2's Derrick Young reports a crash around 4:30 a.m. shut down Lake Shore Drive just south of North Avenue.
The Outer drive had reopened by 5:30 a.m.
At the scene around 4:45 a.m., several police and fire vehicles were seen on the overpass over LaSalle Drive. The northbound entrance ramp was blocked by a police squad car.
Details of the crash were not immediately learned.
