A Dozen Sent To Hospitals From CTA Bus Accident

CHICAGO (STMW) - More than a dozen people were taken to hospitals Saturday afternoon from a CTA bus accident on the West Side.

An EMS Plan I response, which sends at least five ambulances to the scene, was called for the bus accident at Madison and Karlov about 12:25 p.m., according to Fire Media Affairs.

Two people, in serious to critical condition, were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, and 11 others, in fair to serious condition, were taken to area hospitals, according to Fire Media Affairs. Another 16 people refused medical treatment, according to dispatch reports.
