Water Leak Damages Some Ritz-Carlton Hotel Rooms
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Ritz-Carlton Hotel is cleaning up some water damage in a few rooms, and workers continue to assess the impact from a water main leak.
The flood happened Tuesday night on the 73rd floor of the luxury hotel building, at 160 E. Pearson St., which houses condos.
There is no word of damage to the condos, but five or six hotel rooms sustained water damage.
No guests were impacted and the hotel remained open.
A Ritz-Carlton representative said the rooms need to be dried out, but the damage appears to be minimal.
