CHICAGO (STMW) – Chicago police detectives are warning people on the Near West Side about two young men suspected in recent armed robberies.
The alleged offenders approach victims in the street brandishing a handgun and take their property by force, according to a release from Area Central detectives.
The release did not note much about the alleged offenders’ appearance other than they are two black males, about 17 to 20 years old.
They are suspected in two recent armed robberies. The latest happened Wednesday about 8:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of South Racine Avenue, and the other happened on April 19 in the 1200 block of West 13th Street about 9:40 p.m., police said.
