Dozen Dumpster Fires Erupt On North Side Overnight
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago police and fire investigators are looking into several overnight Dumpster fires on the North Side.
There appears there were about a dozen separate incidents all within the North Center and Lakeview neighborhoods
There have been no reports of injuries.
Authorities believe the fires may have been set by a suspect riding from location-to-location on a bike.
The fires occurred:
- Twice in the 3900 block of North Ravenswood Avenue
- Twice in the 4000 block of North Damen Avenue
- 1700 block of West Irving Park Road
- Twice in the 1900 block of West Irving Park Road
- West Irving Park Road and North Wolcott Avenue
- 4000 block of North Hermitage Avenue
- 750 block of West Cornelia Avenue
- North Halsted Street and West Cornelia Avenue
- 3500 block of North Halsted Street
