Several Cars Damaged By Rocks Tossed From Stevenson Overpass

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Six vehicles were damaged late Saturday night when someone threw rocks at cars on the Stevenson Expressway from a railroad overpass on the Southwest Side.

Illinois State Police said they received calls about 10:30 p.m. about cars that were damaged as they were heading north on the Stevenson near the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad overpass, between Kedzie Avenue and Pulaski Road.

At least six cars pulled over after going under the overpass, when their windshields, hoods or sunroofs were damaged by rock tossed from the overpass.

No one was arrested immediately after the incident.
