Six people were inside a sport-utility vehicle when it went out of control and crashed violently into a pole.

One witness says it was mangled and on fire when police yelled it was going to blow up.

“We heard a huge boom so we came. We heard a girl screaming. We thought maybe someone needed help,” said the witness, Toni Thomas. “By the time we came, we saw bodies on the ground.”
