Dog Spotted Running On Stevenson Expy.

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A dog was spotted running in the middle of the Stevenson Expressway Tuesday morning.

Chopper 2 HD caught the dog dodging cars and sparking a canine hunt on the Stevenson and along Harlem Avenue right off the expressway.

The chase went on for about 20 minutes, until one very nimble man caught the dog on Harlem Avenue near 65th Street – on the cusp of Chicago's Clearing neighborhood and the suburbs of Summit and Bedford Park.

The dog appeared tired, but seemed to be safe.

It was not immediately learned how the dog got onto the expressway, or whom the dog belonged to.
