CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was shot in both legs while walking down the street in the West Side Austin neighborhood early Sunday.

The man, 23, was in the 4900 block of West Hubbard Street about 2:20 a.m. when a vehicle pulled alongside him and someone inside fired several shots, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said

He was taken in good condition to West Suburban Medial Center in Oak Park, Gaines said.

No one is in custody, but Area North detectives are investigating.
