CHICAGO (CBS) — The state of Illinois is kicking off a campaign today to get you to try to buy more products that are made in Illinois.

As WBBM’s Bernie Tafoya reports, Jennifer Tyrie of the Illinois Department of Agriculture said  if every Illinois household would pledge to spend $10 a week in groceries on products from Illinois, it would generate nearly $2.5 billion to the Illinois economy each year.
