Three Teens Shot In Englewood

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three teenage boys were shot Saturday night in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

Two males approached on foot and opened fire while the boys were walking on the sidewalk in the 7100 block of South Loomis Boulevard at 11:23 p.m., police said.

A 13-year-old boy was taken in Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with gunshot wounds in the left and right shoulder, police said. A 16-year-old was shot in the right thigh and suffered a graze wound to the left thigh. He was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County.

Another 13-year-old boy was taken to University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital with a gunshot wound in the right thigh, police said. All three teens were in "stable" condition.

No one is in custody and Area South detectives are investigating.
