Same-Sex Couples Kiss Outside Chick-Fil-A In Protest

CHICAGO (CBS) -- In the Chick-fil-A controversy, some same-six sex couples sealed their protest with a kiss Friday.

They kissed in front of the Chick-fil-A restaurant at Chicago and Wabash – a scene repeated around the country – on a day declared "National Same Sex Kiss Day."

It's all because the top Chick-fil-A executive said he supports the biblical definition of marriage, between a man and woman.

Recently, Chicago Ald. Joe Moreno said he'd block an effort to build a second Chicago store in his Logan Square neighborhood. Mayor Emanuel has said Chicago does not share Chick-fil-A's values.

The restaurant enjoyed the support of customers earlier this week during a national day of support for the private chain. Chick-fil-A officials say they broke sales records.
