White Sox Sign Dewayne Wise To Minor League Deal
(CBS) The White Sox signed outfielder Dewayne Wise to a minor league contract, according to multiple reports.
Wise was a member of the White Sox from 2008-09 and is famously known for saving Mark Buehrle's perfect game with a home run-robbing catch in the ninth inning.
Wise will report Triple-A Charlotte.
The White Sox also completed their trade for Brett Myers by sending minor league pitcher Chris Devenski to Houston as the player to be named later.
