Bears Sign S LeGree
(CBS) With injuries to both Chris Conte and Brandon Hardin, the Bears have signed safety Mark LeGree to a one-year deal.
LeGree was selected in the fifth-round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Seahawks. The 6-0, 210-pound safety spent parts of the 2011 season on the practice squads of the Cardinals, 49ers and Jets.
He was a three-time first-team All-American (FCS) and two-time top-5 Buck Buchanan Award finalist (FCS national defensive player of the year) at Appalachian State, finishing his career with 22 interceptions in 53 games played.
