Chicago Has Highest Gas Prices In Nation: Lundberg

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Drivers are opening their wallets even more at the pump, especially here in Chicago.

The Lundberg survey reports drivers here pay the highest prices in the nation--averaging about $4.22 for a gallon of regular gas.

At the BP station at 67th and Jeffery today, the price was higher: $4.39.

That's much more than the national average, which is $3.76 a gallon.

The national average is up 7 cents in the last two weeks.

Drivers in El Paso, Texas are paying the least, at $3.32 a gallon.
